Record 1
The Higher Diploma scholarship, won in 2014
In October 2013, Théo Hénusse, then a student at the CIAM music school in Bordeaux, entered an international guitar competition sponsored by Total Guitar Magazine and Gibson. Shortlisted on video, he played the final live, five minutes before the jury of The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) in London.
In April 2014, aged 19, he won the Higher Diploma Scholarship: a Gibson Les Paul Futura 2014 guitar and a one-year scholarship to the London school. He joined in September 2014. The French regional daily Ouest-France reported on it.

Record 2
The official ICMP offer letter, May 2014
The letter from The Institute, dated 13 May 2014, confirms the place on the Higher Diploma – Guitar course (Edexcel Professional Diploma, Level 5), starting on 15 September 2014, with the line “Total Course Fee: £Nil – Scholarship Winner”. The postal address of the time is blurred.

Record 3
Le Télégramme, 2014
A second article, published in the regional daily Le Télégramme, tells the same story: the video shortlist, the five-minute final before the jury, the Gibson Les Paul guitar and the one-year scholarship at ICMP. In French.

Record 4

On 26 March 2015, ICMP’s official account published the photograph of the scholarship winners receiving their Gibson guitars. Théo Hénusse is on the left, in front of the school’s poster.
